On June 24, China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES) 2016 Management Committee held its second meeting to further discuss survey sample tracking methods, use of government data, investigation on the shutdowns and other issues. It was decided that the survey training and mobilization meeting would be held during July 8 to 9 at Wuhan University. Cheng Hong, professor of Wuhan University and director of CEES International Expert Advisory Committee, Du Yang professor of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and others attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Professor Cheng Hong, on behalf of CEES execution unit, reported the basic information of the pilot survey conducted in Wuhan and the preparation and arrangement of the following CEES 2016 Survey. Members of the Management Committee spoke highly of the work carried out in Wuhan pilot survey and discussed several key issues related to the following CEES survey.
