On November 2, Director of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQISQ), Mei Kebao, made important instructions on the report, “Suggestions on promoting the legislation of Quality Promotion Law”, submitted by Luo Ying, Associate Professor of IQDS. He commented, “The suggestions are good, insightful and creative, and can be used for reference in legislation. Department of Legislation and Research Center of AQISQ should carefully organize and enhance research, actively promote the progress of legislative work and contrive to make the voice heard in National People’s Congress (NPC) and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The report has proposed that Quality Promotion Law should be identified as basic law to regulate the government, enterprises, consumers, social organizations, quality technology service agencies and other quality entities to jointly share the rights of governance in quality promotion and upgrade the quality of micro products (service) and economic and social development. Base on the current basis of legislation promotion, it is also recommended that multi legislative promotion models including case promotion and local trial law-making promotion should be implemented to promote the legislative work of Quality Promotion Law.
