In January 2016, “Report on Findings of Guangdong Manufacturing Industry ‘Transforming and Upgrading, Improving Quality and Efficiency’ China Enterprise-Employee Survey” which was completed and submitted by team led by professor Cheng Hong has got instructions by Guangdong provincial governor Zhu Xiaodan and vice provincial governor Liu Zhigeng. Zhu Xiaodan gave an explicit direction that: “This survey is timely and in-depth, and relevant policy recommendations could be selected and delivered to The Development and Reform Commission, Economic and Information Commission, Science and Technology Department, Human Resource and Social Security Department for further study.”
The report was based on the data of “Guangdong Manufacturing Industry ‘Transforming and Upgrading, Improving Quality and Efficiency’ China Enterprise-Employee Survey”. It analyzed the current situation, problems and trends of manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong province, and has put forward targeted policy suggestions based on these situation and problem, which has great scientific value to grasp the developing condition of enterprises in Guangdong province comprehensively and objectively.
