At 9:00 a.m. in the morning of July 7, 2018, the mobilization rally for the China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES) 2018 was successfully held in the conference hall at the first floor of the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Wuhan University. Professor Hong Cheng, Director of CEES International Management Committee and Director of China Enterprise Survey Data Center of Wuhan University, Professor Xiaobo Qu from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a total number of 362 investigators from renowned universities and institutes including Wuhan University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Hubei University of Technology attended the rally conference.
Four faculty members, Ms. Ying Luo, Ms. Dandan Li, Ms. Qiong Li and Mr. Tang Li, together with Dr. Wenjing Chen, respectively delivered training sessions on the topics of personal safety management, emotion management, finance management, quality control of the CEES survey and electronic reporting system scenarios. Professor Hong Cheng made a half-an-hour speech entitled “Ignite Passion with Dreams”. During the speech, professor Cheng fully explained the capabilities and fundamental qualities required for the CEES investigation, and also stressed that we should hold on to the strong belief of “Never and ever give up”, the work method of “learning by practice” and the unweaving bottom line of “Quality First”, therefore to create values with actions and realize the dream of CEES.
In the afternoon, all the investigators of the five survey zones, Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Sichuan and Jilin, made their set-off oaths on the stage and took the delegation flag from Professor Hong Cheng.
Professor Xiaobo Que extended his excitement and delight to be part of the CEES investigation and as a witness to the great success it has already received from the academia both at home and abroad.
Since then, the CEES 2018 has started in full swing, and all the 362 investigators will head to more than a hundred cities in Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Sichuan and Jilin province, to create a CEES miracle in this summer with passion and diligence.
