At the afternoon on September 22, Monthly Work Conference and Launching Ceremony of the 10th Anniversary of the Institute of Quality Development Strategy was successfully held in the 209 classroom. Prof. Cheng Hong, the Dean of IQDS and all the faculty and staff attended the conference, with Deputy Dean Dr. Song Qiong presiding the meeting.
At Monthly Work Conference, Cheng Hong concluded the achievements and shortcomings of our work in September, focusing on the prominent problems of human resources and team building. Then he made specific arrangements and deployment of major work in October.
At Launching Ceremony of the 10th Anniversary of IQDS, Song Qiong briefed the work plan of the ceremony from several aspects including the guiding principle, programs, organization, etc., and clarified the time schedule, personnel allocation and job responsibilities.
Cheng Hong delivered a speech at the launching ceremony. He pointed out that great achievements in all rounds were made since the founding of the IQDS over a decade. The social impact was expanded, recognized by all walks of life in the society. Taking the opportunity of the 10th anniversary of IQDS, we should comprehensively review and summarize our core competence and core resources, focusing on our long-term planning and construction, so as to promote the leapfrog development from three aspects of review and development, future prospect, impact and dissemination. Efforts need to be made to develop visual tools, spread academic achievements, expand social impact so as to achieve the goal of building world-class research institute. He hoped that the heads of working groups made detailed arrangement and positive action of the 10th anniversary celebration.
