At the afternoon on August 17, the project undertaken by the Institute of Quality Development Strategy entitled “Study on the Optimization and Reform Scheme of Checking System of Commodity Quality in China 's Circulation” entrusted by State Administration for Industry and Commerce was successfully accepted with unanimous approval in Beijing.
Associate professor Luo Lianfa, on behalf of IQDS research group, made a detailed introduction of the research findings from three aspects of historical development and international comparison, achievements and problems, policy suggestions of quality supervision and inspection system in the circulation of commodities in China.
The review group consists of five experts from Consumer Protection Bureau of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, China Consumers Association, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and China University of Political Science and Law. They agreed that the subject of research was accurately targeted. It discussed the major problems facing current commodity quality supervision and inspection system. Through detailed literature review and scientific research methods, the research reviewed the history of commodity quality inspection test and analyzed the main experience of developed countries. The research structure was reasonable, with both rigorous theoretical analysis and the in-depth empirical analysis, which was a combination of theories and practices. More importantly, the conclusion was highly applicable. The negative list and other specific measures mentioned in the research was of great guiding significance to the grassroots work of industry and commerce in China.
The entrusting party of this research project pointed out that the final report and acceptance of the project would serve as a starting point in the future to better play the advantages of resources of the Institute of Quality Development Strategy, Wuhan University and to strengthen the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in research projects and talent culivation.
