On the Morning of January 17, “China Wonly Cup” 2016 Best Quality Award Ceremony was held in IQDS. Zotye Group, Jingshan Public Inspection and Test Center, Shenzhen Quality and Consumption Institute, China Certification and Inspection Group and Ms. Zheng Junfang, Chief Governance Officer of Alibaba Group were respectively awarded the Best Quality Award of Enterprise, Public Services of Quality, Social Organization of Quality, Technical Institute of Quality and Quality Citizen.
The Best Award Ceremony, sponsored by Wonly Group, was held by IQDS and Hubei Collaboration and Innovation Center of Micro-quality Management. Chen Jiabin, Deputy Director of Jinhua Economic Development Zone and Adjunct Professor of Wuhan University, Wang Yuebin, Chair of Board of Wonly Group and Adjunct Professor of IQDS and other guests attended the Ceremony, and Song Qiong, Dean of IQDS, served as the hostess.
Since October, after the three-month analysis and review of the Expert Committee of “Best Quality Award” on the selected candidates representing China’s quality development in recent years, the awardees were finally identified after strict nomination, selection and review.
The Best Quality Award is the first quality award accredited by academic professionals. Based on the academic results and expert resources of IQDS and adopting peer-review methods, it aimed to find the “nice voice” in quality area by exploring outstanding government representatives, enterprises, social organizations, technical institutes and consumers and widely disseminate the effective approach to quality innovation accommodating our national economic conditions, shifting from “speed-oriented era” to “quality-orient era”.
During the Ceremony, Five nomination experts of IQDS, Yu Hongwei, Luo Lianfa, Lihan, Zhang Jihong, and Song Shilei, respectively delivered their analysis report of their nominated awardees and Professor Cheng Hong made insightful comments based on their reports.
“The Best Quality Award” is a vital professional academic award, a beam of quality light, which attracts the attention of Chinese quality constructors,” Chen Jiabin said in his addressing. He believed, IQDS took advantage of its expert team, searched and integrated various information of Chinese enterprises from market, consumers, the Internet and media etc., and unearthed the features and highlights of enterprises to promote the development of the enterprises towards positive energy.
Wang Yuebin elaborated why enterprises should stick to quality innovation in their development by referring to their development experience. He said, the “Best Quality Award” is a professional award, but is very down to earth. It associated the scientific research with China’s quality development, and well communicated the sound of China’s quality to make it heard among more people.
