CEO Deng Hui of Changjiang Securities Visited IQDS

On October 21, CEO Deng Hui of Changjiang Securities and his parties, including Huang Taijin, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, Xiao Fan, Director of Office, Ge Xiaoming, Secretary of CEO, and had a seminar with Professor Cheng Hong, Dean of IQDS, and all the faculty members and students of IQDS.


Cheng Hong introduced the basic information of IQDS from scientific research, talent fostering, social service and other aspects, with the highlighted presentation of the core scientific research resources, international development construction and think tank results.

Later, Deng Hui briefly introduced the history and business development of Changjiang Securities. He said, he was excited about and deeply impressed by the great achievements IQDS have obtained. He believed, it was IQDS’s down-to-earth and quality-oriented spirit and strong sense of responsibility and sense of mission based on social service that China’s securities industry desperately needed as intellectual support. Based on the same values held, Changjiang Securities and IQDS would take advantage of basic research strengths and exchange research results for extensive cooperation in talent forestoring, empirical surveys and transformation of scientific research results.


Cheng Hong said, open-minded entrepreneurship Changjiang Securities possessed set a good example for IQDS, and further arrangements would be assigned to individuals and come into action.


Changjiang Securities, used to be “Hubei Securities”, was founded in Wuhan in Mach 18, 1991. On February 23, 2000, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company increased its share capital to 1.029 billion yuan, and changed its name as “Changjiang Securities Limited Liability Company,” and. In December, 2001, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it increased its investment to 2 billion yuan. On December 19, 2007, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company changed its name to “Changjiang Securities incorporated company,” and on December 27, it was officially listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with stock code 000783. In 2005 and 2008, it was twice named “The Top Ten Influential Brands in China’s Securities Industry." In 2007, in China Securities Awarding Ceremony, it was awarded “The Most Potential Securities Company.”
