October 24, 2016

On December 21, China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES) 2016 Awarding Ceremony was successfully held in IQDS Multi-functional Lecture Hall. More than 120 investigators attended the ceremony and shared their experiences and stories. Deputy Secretary of the CYL of Wuhan University, Li Hao and Director of CEES and Dean of IQDS, Professor Cheng Hong attended the ceremony as well.

During the ceremony, Executive Director of CEES, Professor Luo Lianfa introduced the progress of CEES from the number of questionnaires collected, effective collection rate, tracking rate and regional rankings. He said, the successful completion of CEES depended on the whole-hearted efforts made by each investigator and the strict examination of each group supervisor.

Li Hao and Luo Lianfa presented the “CEES 2016 Outstanding Investigator Award” to 39 CEES investigators for the survey in Hubei and Guangdong. The awardee representatives shared their feelings of the survey. Li Hao said, CEES 2016 was a meaningful practice of well-organized and disciplined activities which fully exercised the students’ social practice ability.

Five survey teams of Dongguan, Chancheng, Chaozhou, Qingshan district of Wuhan, Tianmen and Danjiangkou district of Shiyan were conferred with the “CEES 2016 Outstanding Survey Group Award”. Professor Cheng Hong presented the awards and made the speech.

Cheng Hong said, participation in CEES enabled the investigators to have in-depth talks with entrepreneurs and employees in the frontline of economy and personally experience the pulse of China’s economic development. For the students, the biggest achievements are not only their experiences and success obtained in the survey but also their participation and promotion in China’s economic development as part of it. He hoped that all the participants would keep the core value of “thinking like scientists and working like migrant workers” in mind and apply it to their work and life.
