On October 13, Professor Hong Cheng, Dean of IQDS, was invited to make a keynote speech entitled “Promoting the large-scale development of the industry with entrepreneurship” in Fiber and Textile Industry Quality Conference.
Cheng Hong first analyzed the current situation of textile and clothing industry in Hubei Province from the aspects of industrial development quality, industrial development pattern, industrial structure, innovation kinetic energy, human capital and entrepreneurship, and proposed effective policies and suggestions from innovation-driven, industry-upgrading, quality-oriented and entrepreneurship-promoting perspectives. The speech was based on the analysis and research of 41 million primary CEES survey data collected from 103 enterprises and 696 employees in textile and clothing industry from 13 cities and 20 counties in Hubei province.
After the conference, Cheng Hong was interviewed by Jingchu network news on the development of textile service industry in Hubei province.
“Fiber and Textile Industry Quality Conference” was jointly held by the Hubei Provincial Quality Work Committee Office, Hubei Province Quality and Technical Supervision, Wuhan Textile University, which aimed to explore new challenges and opportunities and new momentum faced by the fiber, textile and clothing industry to enhance innovation-driven and green development.
