On October 14th, 2015,Professor Carlin Lawrence, vice academic dean of Duke University, together with his partners, accompanied by president Liu and president assistantLi Huiof Duke Kunshan University, came to IQDS for academic exchange. At the conference, participants discussed specific issues onthe construction of International Quality Management Research Center and achieved an agreement on regular expert visits and jointly academic exchanges.
Professor Cheng introduced the preparation matters of building International Quality Management Research Center,which is jointly founded by Duke University, Duke Kunshan University and Institute of Quality Development Strategy of Wuhan University. During the introduction, research field, social services and other relative issues is given.
Professor Carin then spoke highly of focusing on five aspects including product quality, consumer quality protection, quality of higher education and so on, and he said much effort should be put into jointly discussion between Duke University and IQDS of Wuhan University in this field as soon as possible.
