On the afternoon of December 7, Doctor Peter Sieber, former executive director of Stiftung Warentest (Product Inspection Foundation of Germany) and his parties from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) visited IQDS and had a seminar with Professor Cheng Hong, Dean of IQDS, and faculty members concerned on the promotion of comparative tests on products and services. This meeting was hosted by Doctor Li Dandan, Director of Research Department of IQDS.
Li Dandan introduced the construction and development of IQDS, with a highlighted introduction to Employer-Employee Survey (CEES). Doctor Perter Perter Sieber and his parties introduced the progress of the project under GIZ’s research. Peter Sieber said, conducting comparative tests project in China, GIZ aimed to construct an independent platform of product comparative tests, so as to improve the quality and safety of Chinese and German products and provide relevant product information concerned with Chinese consumers’ real demand. IQDS is the leading research institute in China’s quality development and have obtained great achievements in academic research and practice area of comparative tests and plays an important role in promoting the platform alliance of product comparative tests. He hoped, both parties could further enhance cooperation and jointly promoted the development of comparative tests in China.
Cheng Hong extended his gratitude to Doctor Peter Sieber and his colleagues for their great contribution to the promotion of product comparative tests in China. He said, IQDS would like to invest all its energy and resources in developing comparative tests for consumer-based quality evaluation in China.
Further discussion have been made on the questions related to the alliance platform of product comparative tests.
