Recently, Cheng Hong and Xu Wei’s paper “Quality Innovation Strategy: A New Paradigm and Framework of Quality Management” was reproduced in the management column (Issue 6, 2016) of China University Academic Abstracts, one of the Four Journals of China Social Sciences.
“Quality Innovation Strategy: A New Paradigm and Framework of Quality Management” was originally published in Macro-quality Research (Issue 3, 2016), an academic journal founded by IQDS. In this paper, it is put forward that quality innovation strategy is a new paradigm of quality management, and we should stick to the core values of creating value for customers, carry out effective collaborative innovation mechanism by taking entrepreneurship as motive force, quality policies as environment constraints, quality demand as strategic objectives, quality credit as approaches, quality big data, quality technology, standard ability as means, and quality culture as integration mechanism in order to create better values to meet customer needs and help enterprises to win competitive quality advantages. It is also pointed out that quality innovation strategy significantly differs from traditional quality management because it breaks through traditional factor input management based on the “speed era”, highlights the values of total factor innovation based on the “quality era” and constructs five evaluation dimensions of quality innovation strategy framework according to the actual development of firms’ upgrading and transformation in China.
